Last week was a pretty exciting week!!
Last thursday I had a William Forsythe ( famous choreographer) master class with Ms. Laura Graham. The class challenging and exciting. She opened my eyes to a different way of moving. She worked with us on not muscling through the movement but just breathing and freely moving through the combination. We also worked a lot on different dynamics. After taking her class I look at dance in a whole new way. Im so grateful that I had the opportunity to learn from Ms. Laura Graham. ☺️
Another exciting thing that happened was…
Joffrey had American Ballet Theatre (ABT) Principal dancer Christine Shevchenko teach my levels ballet class on friday!!! It was truly an honor to get to meet her and take her class. Her class wasn’t super challenging but it also wasn’t easy either. The combinations she gave us were really fun and focused a lot on musicality. As I watched her teach us the combinations I was in awe of her strength and flexibility! She made everything look effortless! Im SO grateful that I had the opportunity to learn from a Principal dancer!!!! 🤩🥰
